NATURE OF BUSINESS:

This Company allegedly operates a non-profit organization that purports to assist consumers with resolving complaints with other companies. The Company is privately owned, and is not connected, in any way, with the Government. The Company's profits are made solely from soliciting businesses for paying memberships.

FILE EXPERIENCE:

We rate this Company of having an unsatisfactory "F" rating based on a pattern of complaints that cause us concern.

Complaints generally allege that the Company uses high-pressure and misleading sales tactics on local businesses to secure memberships generally ranging from $335 on up. Complaints also allege that the Company selectively rates businesses based on their ability or desire to pay it's membership fees, as well as allegedly disseminating inaccurate and unsubstantiated so called “Reliability Reports”, then arbitrarily rating businesses as “unsatisfactory” when refusing to “pay up”. The Orange County District Attorney's Office and the Orange County Register recently made an inquiry into the Company's business practices. It appears the Company also employs individuals, who are "key" employees, with criminal backgrounds. We urge the citizens of the State of California to exercise extreme caution when dealing with this organization or paying any membership fees.
